Starting with go-carts, to Stock Cars and Open Wheel Modified on asphalt and then moving to Outlaw Street Class on dirt. His first championship came early in his career, it was in go-carts in 2000 at Sunset Raceway in Baileyton, Al. in the junior stock class and the second was in 2008 at Moulton speedway in Moulton, Al. in the Outlaw street class. In 2009, he was given the opportunity to test a Nascar Camping World truck. Michael is the third active firefighter to join the USFDR. Along with Jim Mrozinski, Troy Nogosek and all the other members we are honored to have Michael representing USFD Racing to bring awareness
through the racing world. Proverbs 3: 5-6
is Halbrooks favorite bible verse
and it says, “In all ways acknowledge
him and he will direct your path”
