Troy’s fire service career began in Northern California as a volunteer with the Dry Creek Fire Protection District in 1992. His transition to a fulltime career with the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District started in 2000 and promoted to the rank of Engineer in 2008. Troy’s racing enthusiasm started while helping Dave Bradway Jr. in 1980 with the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars. But after Dave was killed in a tragic crash in 1987, Troy stepped away from racing. In 2004 Troy started working with fellow fire-fighter, Jeff Stephens, when he learned Jeff had a Modified racecar. Troy began helping Jeff in the Modified Division and in 2005 bought his own Modified. His passion for racing returned and he’s been racing ever since. Troy’s accomplishments include Track
Champion in 2005 at Champion
Speedway in Carson City, NV and
Top Ten in points in 2006 at 99
Speedway in Stockton, California.
While competing in only 50% of races
in 2007 and 2010, Troy finished in the
top twenty in points at All American
Speedway in Roseville, California.
